Happy #HumansofIDP season!
Kicking off our batch of Fall ’24 EDUC 2610 facilitators are Bita Molaie ’25 and Hyun Lim ’27. Check out what these two have to say about IDP and one another!
Why IDP?
Bita:
IDP has immensely shifted the way that I view the world around me and continues to teach me new ways of learning, thinking, and growing. It has taught me the unparalleled value of cultivating new connections across difference and ignited my passion for using dialogue as a necessary tool to enact meaningful social change.
Hyun:
I see so much community-building and connection-making happening in IDP. I found the class so intriguing in the spring, and I’m honored to now be part of the team who works tirelessly to help better the Cornell community. IDP is a place where I can grow in my communication and connection skills, and an opportunity for me to be a leader to others and help them connect across differences.
What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?
Bita:
Hyun is action-oriented, constantly seeking new ways he can strengthen and enrich our students’ learning experiences. He prioritizes makingan active, empathetic, and meaningful effort to connect with our class, fostering a trust-filled learning environment for not only the students, but myself as well.
Hyun:
Bita is a very responsible, friendly, and supportive co-facilitator. I have truly appreciated learning and working with her in my first semester facilitating because she’s made it so easy. She is caring and kind, hard-working and dedicated, and driven to help others in any way she can.
