Happy Friday! Today’s #HumansofIDP are Orania Al-Bulushi ’25 and Teresa Crisantos-Prudencio ’25, two of our EDUC 2610 co-facilitators this semester. Here's what these two have to say about IDP and one another!

Why IDP?

Orania:

IDP is a space where I have the opportunity to engage in conversations about exciting, complex topics with a wonderful group of thought-provoking people. It not only allows me to delve into new intellectual territories, but also facilitates continuous self-discovery and growth, supporting me in gaining deeper insights about myself and those around me.

Teresa:

IDP has really helped me understand myself better. With this came immense growth and a deeper appreciation of the world around me. It has equipped me with the tools necessary to share my thoughts and connect with those around me. I am so grateful that IDP has enabled me to continue learning and developing as a person.

What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?

Orania:

I love Teresa’s ability to be open minded and listen with her genuine curiosity. Having her as my co has made me a better facilitator as I learn from her ability to lead with generosity toward others. She effortlessly infuses humor and lightheartedness into her work, fostering a comforting and welcoming atmosphere for both me and our students.

Teresa:

Orania has quickly become one of my favorite people! At first, I was nervous as a new facilitator, but Orania has been so supportive and encouraging along the way. It has truly been an honor learning alongside such an amazing person to work with and amazing friend. I always appreciate Orania’s ability to make me laugh and go on random adventures with me!
