Happy Friday! Today’s #HumansofIDP are our last two EDUC 2610 facilitators from this semester: Anna Hooper ’25 and Claire Ceske ’24. Here's what these two have to say about IDP and one another!

Why IDP?

Anna:

IDP has been absolutely transformative for me. It provides me with constant opportunities for challenge, growth, inspiration, and connection. I have grown to love the IDP community and its support for learning and improving, and the strong sense of purpose that being a part of this program and doing this work gives me.

Claire:

It would not be an exaggeration to say IDP has completely changed my life. Learning about human connection has encouraged me to be more authentic and vulnerable in my interactions; and understanding social identity and dialogue has empowered me to engage in otherwise stressful interpersonal conflicts. I could go on and on, and anyone who knows me knows I already do.

What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?

Anna:

Claire is a beautiful combination of wit, humor, compassion, and conviction. She is a loyal friend, a lover of shenanigans, and a constant teacher and learner. To know Claire is to be grateful she is in your life. I am so happy to have met Claire and even more lucky to call her a friend.

Claire:

Anna is one of the warmest people I know. In our many conversations over soup I’ve grown so much — whether we’re talking about social identity visibility, brainstorming ways to better engage students, or nerding out over bugs. I most admire that Anna really puts her full energy into everything she does and is not easily deterred. I am so grateful to IDP for giving me this lifelong friend.
