Meet Henrique Corato Zanarella ‘21, Linda He ‘21, and Sydney Palmer ‘23, three of our EDUC 2610 co-facilitators and this week’s #HumansofIDP! Here’s what these three have to say about IDP and one another:
Why IDP?
Henrique:
What is your favorite thing about your co-facilitators?
Linda:
My favorite thing about my co-facilitators is how they push me to be a better facilitator. My co-facilitators are incredibly kind and considerate, and they often challenge me to be more empathetic. Henrique brings so much genuine joy and curiosity into every session, and Sydney is always attuned to the needs of the class as well as my needs as a co-facilitator. They are both amazing facilitators and I’m so grateful to have them as my cos.
What is the most rewarding part of being an IDP facilitator?
Sydney:
IDP was one of the first classes I took at Cornell and I learned more about myself and the world in that semester than in any other part of my life. Having had such an amazing experience as a student in IDP, it seemed like it was my responsibility to give that experience to other students at Cornell. Once I saw my first student have their “Aha” moment in class, I knew I wanted to keep doing this work.
