Happy last day of classes everyone! We’re excited to feature EDUC 2610 co-facilitators Charli Stewart ‘25 and Orania Al-Bulushi ‘25 as today’s #HumansofIDP! Here's what these two have to say about IDP and one another!

Why IDP?

Charli:

I choose to facilitate IDP because it has completely changed the way I view myself and the way I interact with those around me in such a positive way!

Orania:

IDP has allowed me to understand myself and those around me better. It gave me the opportunity to grow and discover new and different perspectives in an encouraging environment. Through being a participant and a facilitator, I found the IDP environment a space where I can be my authentic self and connect with others in a way I have never experienced anywhere else on campus.

What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?

Charli:

I love Orania, she’s such a queen. I honestly think she has one of the coolest personalities I have ever come across. Any conversation you get the chance of having with her is guaranteed to be the most engaging you’ve had all day. I have so much admiration for her ability to be unapologetically herself and make literally any situation ridiculously funny.

Orania:

Charli can see the humor in every situation which creates and very contagious light and joyful ambiance that I absolutely love. She understands emotions and can connect with people in a way that seems very seamless. Charli does not only support the growth and impact the learning process of our students, but mine as well!
