Happy Monday! We’re excited to feature Sydney Palmer ‘23 and Sri Ravisankar ‘25 as this week’s #HumansofIDP! Here's what these two have to say about IDP and one another!
Why IDP?
Sri:
I love working at IDP because there is always something exciting going on! From building meaningful connections to learning about different tools and frameworks, I am constantly challenged to engage more consciously. The welcoming and inclusive atmosphere has helped me find a space where I can be my authentic self, and I will always love IDP for that!
Sydney:
IDP has been one of the most instrumental parts of my college experience. This community has afforded me so many opportunities to learn and grow as a person, and connect with a variety of people on campus. My favorite thing about IDP is how impactful it is both inside and outside the classroom. The change I’ve seen in myself as a student, teacher, and person through this program is something that brings me so much joy and gratitude.
What's your favorite thing about your co-facilitator?
Sri:
My favorite thing about Sydney is the care she shows towards the growth of our students! From the moment she walks into session, she brings in this energy and smile that lights up the room. She engages with students in a friendly yet mindful manner, and that skill never fails to amaze me! I am so grateful to have Sydney as my co-facilitator!
Sydney:
One of my favorite things about Sri is her humility as an educator. She is constantly working to help our students, improve her own skills, and maintain curiosity through the process. Working with her this semester has been really motivating for me as a person and an educator. I’m really happy to have Sri as one of my cos!
